We all should be informed about what is happening in world current events.  Most serious Christians believe that we are living in what the Bible calls the "Last Days."  By comparing the Word of God to current events helps us better understand the "times and the seasons" we are living in.  Do not be afraid of what you see or what you hear in the news...Jesus said, "when you see these things, look up for your redemtion draws near..."  

By being aware of what is happening around you, you are even better equipped to pray for the world that God so loved and gave His Only begotten Son for...so if they would believe in Him they will not perish but have everlasting life....
